Blaise Agüera y Arcas

Blaise Agüera y Arcas is a software architect, designer, and imagery expert. As of 2010, he is the architect of Bing Maps and Bing Mobile.[1] In 2011 he was named a Distinguished Engineer[2] at Microsoft.

He founded Seadragon Software in 2003, which was acquired by Microsoft Live Labs in 2006. He has led later development of the Photosynth software suite.

In 2008, he was named to the MIT Technology Review TR35 as one of the top 35 innovators in the world under the age of 35.[3]
